I really belive in sharing knowledge. The more you give the more you get, no doubt about it.
From 2006 I've been appointed as the President of the Italian SQL Server User Group which from my establishment, has grown from some hundred to more that two thousand members.
As a User Group we help people who works with SQL Server getting togheter, either using forums, blogs, webcasts, articles and everything the web allows, to in-person meeting, trying to deliver two or three meeting per year, everywhere in Italy, especially outside big cities, so that everyone can have a chance to attend to one of our events.
From 2009 on we're also working with Universities to deliver workshop in collaboration with them, showing to the students and all the participants how theory and practice works well together, and helping companies and students to meet, trying to facilitate their entrance in business world easier and with solid foundations.
